My Life So Far
Hello, all my welcome visitors! I am glad you stop by for a visit! You would like something to drink? Sweet Tea? Diet Pop? Coffee? Hot Tea? How about something to eat? A piece of cake? Some homegrown tomatoes?
Shall I tell you about me? Well, I am a 51 year young wife, mother, grandmother, friend, etc. I am married to my soulmate, we have a blended family of 1 son (35), 3 daughters (28,27,24) and 5 granddaughters (9, 7, 5, 2, 5 months). My husband says that he is destined to be surrounded by women! (I think he likes it)
I live in the country by a very small town in Oklahoma. I love to garden, cook, sew, craft, and read. I take care of my 2 year old granddaughter when her mother works. She keeps my busy! But I love every minute.
I have two college degrees, one in alcohol and drug counseling and one in behavioral science. However, I transferred my people skills into doing something I have always loved, thrifting. I love the thrill of the neat item and the bargain! I have a business, which includes 3 flea market booths, two ebay stores that I help my daughters run, Bombshell-o-matic and Dewy Rose Jewelry. I also am a Ebay Education Specialist, I teach classes and individuals how to buy and sell on Ebay.
I am very grateful to be blessed to be an American, a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, etc. I thank God everyday for all that I have been given in this life. I pass on my belief in a kind, loving God by helping others to see Him/Her? through my actions.
Now tell me a little about yourself! I am waiting to hear!

Hello – I just wanted to thank you for posting the Friendship Bread starter recipe! I was given some starter years ago and used it a few times but neglected it. Now I have a chance to get it going again. Your lifestyle sounds fabulous. I’m a teacher and never seem to have enough time for myself and the homey/crafty things I love to do. Maybe the breadmaking will help me regain my balance.
Thanks again,
Wanda

Joy, i love seeing my reflection. finding great things for free.
it is sad to say, but so much was thrown out of homes following Katrina. I was photographing some delicate hand-painted tea cups and saucers to sell on ebay. They may not sell. there is so much. i was running a search for suggestions in a craft or art project and i found you. you seem like my kind of woman and bless you and your family.
smiles, kate from new orleans, la

Hi there, I am from Malaysia in the Far East! We have just send one of our very own Malaysia into space. And his message to us back on earth was: Look after our little blue marble! So I am gearing myself to go green as much as I can. I love thrifting and shopping on eBay! I just celebrated my BIG 50 in May 2007 and I have two grown daughters (24 and 21) from my first marriage and none with my now DH.
